A Classy Wedding at Cecilia Estate, Corfu, Greece: Isabel & Trevor’s Multi-Cultural Love Story

Isabel and Trevor’s wedding at the stunning Cecilia Estate in Corfu, Greece, was a celebration that spanned two unforgettable days. As a documentary wedding photographer, I was incredibly honored to capture the main day of this elegant affair. The couple, originally from Los Angeles and from Germany, brought their closest friends and family all the way to Corfu, Greece, for a destination wedding that can only be described as breathtaking.

The Wedding at Cecilia Estate

The wedding day was held at the breathtaking Cecilia Estate, an artful Mediterranean venue surrounded by centuries-old olive groves. With its whitewashed walls, serene ambiance, and panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, Cecilia Estate is the epitome of artful elegance & the art of sprezzatura.

Isabel and Trevor were a vision of modern sophistication. Ines wore a sleek, minimalist wedding gown that perfectly matched the venue’s aesthetic, while Michael looked dapper in a tailored suit. The floral arrangements were a true highlight, with natural, organic blooms in soft shades of white and green that beautifully complemented the neutral tones of the private estate. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the venue’s unique charm.

The ceremony took place in the open courtyard, under the soft glow of the Mediterranean sun, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, Isabel and Trevor exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony that celebrated their love and commitment. The evening transitioned into a candlelit dinner, where guests enjoyed a sumptuous feast prepared by exquisite private chefs with local ingredients. Under the stars, the celebration continued with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and a night of dancing.

Planning a wedding in Corfu or the Greek islands?

I photograph weddings across Greece and the Mediterranean, and I travel as a documentary wedding photographer for couples marrying on the islands. My approach is to stay close to what is really happening: the glances, the hands, the chaos before the toasts and the stillness after. Nothing is staged. I follow the day as it unfolds and give it the care of an editorial story.
