Elegant Multicultural Wedding at Cecilia Estate, Corfu

A Soulful Destination Wedding in the Greek Islands

I first discovered Cecilia Estate while dreaming of intimate weddings in the Mediterranean. Of olive trees and soft linens, laughter echoing through the hills, and long summer nights spent celebrating love. When I reached out to Goldie from Cecilia Weddings, I didn’t know that just a few months later, I’d be photographing a wedding there that captured all of those dreams—and more.

Isabel and Trevor’s wedding in Corfu wasn’t just beautiful. It was soulful. Playful. Unscripted in all the right ways.

A German-American Love Story, sparked in Thailand, blooming in Amsterdam

Isabel is German, Trevor is American, and together they live in Amsterdam—a blend of cultures, languages, and perspectives that shaped every part of their celebration. With guests flying in from Germany, the US, the Netherlands, and beyond, their destination wedding in Corfu became a true meeting point of worlds.

As someone who shares a similar background — I felt instantly connected to their story. Their multilingual ceremony, the emotional toasts in three languages, the natural ease of their dynamic… it was like photographing a version of home.

Olive Grove Ceremony at Cecilia Estate, Corfu

The ceremony took place under the shade of ancient olive trees, with the Ionian Sea shimmering in the background. Isabel walked through the grove in a flowing silk gown, radiant and calm. Trevor’s white tux moved softly in the breeze as he watched her approach.

Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows —a quiet celebration of the life they’ve built across borders. It was elegant and relaxed, with cicadas humming and the late-afternoon sun turning everything to gold.

Sunset Reception With Mediterranean Flair

As the sky turned soft pink, guests gathered on the terrace for a slow, sun-drenched reception. Long tables dressed in linen, seasonal Corfiot cuisine, elegant wines, and joyful music created the feeling of a modern Mediterranean feast.

There were no strict traditions. Just heartfelt toasts in multiple languages, barefoot dancing under the stars, spontaneous swimming, and the kind of laughter that lingers for days.

This wasn’t just a party—it was a celebration of belonging. And as a mediterranean wedding photographer, I knew I was witnessing something rare: a day entirely shaped by what matters.

Wedding Photography That Captures Emotion & Culture

When Isabel and Trevor received their gallery, I got a message that stopped me in my tracks:

“Okay, now I’m completely overwhelmed. Wow Victoria, the photos are incredibly beautiful and you have such a wonderful eye. You've brought us so much joy, and the photos reflect our day so beautifully. We’ll need a few days to slowly take it all in—but our first impression is just: absolutely amazing.”

These are the moments I work for. My goal isn’t just to document—it’s to feel with you, to see the way your story flows between cultures, languages, and gestures. To make images that reflect what it felt like to be there.

From the Couple: Heartfelt Feedback After the Wedding

Isabel and Trevor’s words (originally in German) meant the world to me:

“Ok, jetzt komm ich gar nicht mehr klar. Wow Victoria, die Fotos sind unglaublich schön und du hast ein ganz, ganz tolles Auge. Du hast uns eine riesige Freude gemacht und die Fotos spiegeln unseren Tag wunderschön wider.”

Translation: “Okay, now I’m completely overwhelmed. Wow Victoria, the photos are incredibly beautiful and you have such a wonderful eye. You've brought us so much joy, and the photos reflect our day so beautifully.”

To be trusted with such an intimate, multicultural story is never something I take lightly.
